Color Zap! Privacy Policy

Color Zap! respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information may be collected when you use the app, why it is collected, how it is used, and the choices available to you.

Color Zap! does not require you to create an account and does not intentionally ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, audio recordings, or precise location in order to play the game.

Depending on your privacy choices, app configuration, device, region, and the services used, Color Zap! and its service providers may process limited technical and usage information, including:

App launches, sessions, game starts, game overs, revive usage, theme interactions, and other high-level product interactions.

Purchase events relating to in-app content. Payment card and banking information are handled by Apple and are not received by us.

Crash logs, device and operating-system information, app version, performance information, and other diagnostic data.

Device or installation identifiers used for analytics, diagnostics, advertising delivery, security, and fraud prevention.

Approximate location derived from network information such as an IP address where applicable.

Advertising-related information, such as ad impressions, ad performance, and rewarded-ad completion.

We use PostHog to understand high-level product usage and improve Color Zap!. Examples include app sessions, game starts, game overs, revive usage, theme usage, and purchase-flow events.

We do not use PostHog session replay or broad automatic interaction recording. We may collect limited interaction signals, such as repeated taps, to identify usability problems. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, phone numbers, contacts, photos, audio, or precise location to PostHog.

Analytics can be disabled from the app’s Privacy & Data settings.

We use Firebase Crashlytics to detect crashes and technical problems. Crashlytics may process technical information such as crash logs, stack traces, app state, device information, operating-system information, app version, installation or session identifiers, and diagnostic data.

Crash diagnostics follow the analytics and diagnostics preference available inside Color Zap! where supported by the current app version.

Color Zap! uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, including rewarded ads and interstitial ads. Google may process information necessary to deliver, secure, measure, and report advertising, which can include device identifiers, advertising data, approximate location derived from network information, and technical device information.

Where required, advertising consent choices are handled through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP). A privacy-options control may also be shown in the app when required.

Color Zap! is configured not to intentionally use app-collected data for cross-app or cross-website tracking as defined by Apple. If this changes in a future release, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures will be updated.

Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store and StoreKit. We do not receive or store your payment-card or bank-account details.

Color Zap! may store purchase entitlements and may record high-level purchase events for product analytics, such as whether a theme was purchased or restored.

Color Zap! integrates with Apple Game Center for leaderboards and achievements. Game Center services and associated account information are provided and processed by Apple according to Apple’s terms, privacy policies, and your Apple Account settings.

Color Zap! is designed to be suitable for a broad audience, including younger players, but is not submitted under Apple’s Kids Category.

We do not intentionally request direct personal information such as a child’s name, email address, precise location, contacts, photos, or audio recordings to play Color Zap!.

Local gameplay progress and settings may remain stored on your device until they are reset, removed by the app, or the app is deleted.

Third-party service providers may retain analytics, advertising, and diagnostic information according to their own retention policies and applicable law. We seek to collect only information reasonably necessary to operate, improve, secure, and monetize Color Zap!.

Depending on your app version and region, you may be able to:

Disable analytics and crash diagnostics in Color Zap!’s Privacy & Data settings.

Review or change advertising privacy choices when the applicable Google privacy-options control is available.

Manage Game Center through your Apple device settings.

Remove locally stored app data by deleting the app from your device.

Color Zap! does not currently operate its own user-account system. Most gameplay data created by the app is stored locally and can be removed by deleting the app.

If you have a privacy question or request concerning data handled directly by the developer, contact us using the address below. Information processed independently by Apple, Google, Firebase, or PostHog may also be subject to those providers’ own privacy-request processes.

Color Zap! uses services provided by Apple, Google AdMob, Firebase Crashlytics, and PostHog. Their processing of information is also governed by their respective privacy policies and applicable law.

We may update this Privacy Policy when Color Zap!, its third-party services, or legal requirements change. The current version will be made available at the privacy-policy URL listed on the App Store product page.
